Lie down in a field or park on a lazy summer day and spend
some time simply watching the clouds roll by.
Even on a very hot summer day here in Arizona, you can find a tree to sit under
and enjoy the clouds. I have often spent meditation time watching the clouds.
You tend to loose yourself in thought as you are drawn to the slow
ever-changing forms of the clouds. Some times, you can identify these forms as
earthly items, an animal or a flower or a familiar shape.
The ability to detach from your stress, and attach to the
calm relaxing presence of nature, brings nature closer to you.
Nature itself is centered on calmness. Remember with in the
word nurture is nature.
