Reduce your stress by being generous- Do Something for free what you would normally expect to be paid for.
We all are willing to give free advice, but it is our time that is the most valuable asset we have. Can you afford not to give of your time freely occasionally?
A businessperson’s time is extremely valuable. When you give your customer that something extra your competition does not, you have “sealed the deal” with that customer!
When you give out kindness, expecting nothing in return, you humble yourself and you reduce your level of stress because you have removed expectations.
When you expect to be paid for the physical work you do, the information you provide, the skills you teach and the interactions you make with others, you set limits on yourself. You set a monetary value on YOU!
Instead, your personal value should never have limits. You should be always a work in progress. Constantly growing, living and expanding.
By doing something of value without the expectation of reimbursement, you raise your confidence levels, your self-esteem and your ability to be trusted. Friends, family and acquaintances will respect and honor your for it.
It is always a nice thing if we help others without expecting anything in return. Do not expect anything much in return, you get twice as much in your heart.
