Self- Control means being tough on yourself but gentle on others this is sometimes not easy to do.
In all aspects of your life, make it a challenge to learn to be tough on yourself but go gentle on others! By being tough on yourself, I mean you should set extremely high standards and values for yourself. Your time and skills are very valuable. Use careful consideration when acting on things. You are quality workmanship and you should expect nothing less of yourself. However, as a manager of your self, you should be aware that it is unwise to try to change others. By being slow to judge others who do not reach your high standards is a way to foster self –control and improve your management abilities.
You must understand that every one has their own perception of excellence. Encourage never criticize.
1) Your personal standards can be increased by the way your control clutter in your life.
2) How you let others into your personal space, is an other challenge. An open door policy really means an open mind.
3) Always strive for integrity at work. Remember trust is earned.
4) In your home, teaching your children is paramount teach with love.
5) Being tough on yourself generates self- worth, self- confidence, self- discipline and self- control.
