By Developing your inquisitiveness and using your senses positively, you develop creativity.
Why it is important to take time revisit the child with in yourself.
When you actively change your perspective of the way you think and see the world around you, you become more aware of the simple beauty and simple pleasures that life has to offer. The positive feelings you get will promote healthy, healing energy through out your body and mind.
So how do you do this?
Spend one full day paying attention to the objects around you, which you typically take for granted.
Find the beauty in details you usually over look!
- the fine wood grain of a table
- the fizzing of a carbonated beverage
- a piece of popped corn
- a honeybee on a clover leaf
These are just a few suggestions, to get you started. You see you start to look at things with a definite purpose and reason. You make an effort to really look at something in a creative or analytical way. You open up your mind to the other wise hidden.
This is a great chance to think and act like a child again, using the innocent wonderment of a child.
Remember you still have the inquisitiveness of a child; you just have not used it for a very long time.
What are the guidelines of this experiment?
*Touch and feel for texture and detail.
* See light through the object.
* What does it smell like?
* What kind of sound does it make?
You are actively using your senses to explore your world.
